Cape Coast Solar Park is a 200MW photovoltaic project located in Cape Coast, Central Region, Ghana. It forms the clean energy foundation of the larger Cape Coast Marina City sustainable development vision.
All prerequisite work is complete: land acquisition and 49-year lease secured with zero encumbrances, comprehensive feasibility and technical studies finalized, stakeholder alignment achieved at national and local levels, and provisional renewable energy license granted by the Energy Commission. Final regulatory approvals are in process.
Panels mounted at 6–10 ft with optimized spacing enable continued cultivation of cassava, sweet potato, cocoyam, pepper, and okra beneath the arrays. This design sustains local farming communities while generating clean power.
